Let's get started. Welcome to the introductory episode of the audible ready podcast. We're here today with John Kaplan, President and managing partner at force management. My name is Logan Lyles. I'm one of the producers of this show and today I'll be talking to John about what you, the listener, can expect from this newly rebranded show. But before we jump straight into that, John, I would love for you to tell listeners a little bit about yourself. Sure, Logan. Good Morning. So I'm president and managing partner of force management. Been in sales and sales management my entire working career. Spent the first part of my career in hardware, was zeroks corporation and got a great education.

They taught me how to be a professional salesperson and then I was lucky to move to a software company called PTC, and PTC was, you know, the fastest growing software company on the planet. It went from zero to a billion in less than ten years. The Stock Split Five Times in seven years. So I'd say I got my undergraduate degree in selling at Xerox and my master's at PTC, and then, of course, we we started force management after that. I love the way that you describe that education in sales and you know, hearing your backstory is special to me. I cut my teeth selling copiers for ten years different brands other than Zerox, but I've always heard great things about their sales training programs. You know, John, you mentioned already your company, force management, and they are the force, for lack of a better term, behind this podcast. Can you tell us a little bit about what you and the team at force management or up to these days? Yeah, force management is a premier sales effect in this company. We're...

...known for aligning entire companies around the sale strategy. Our customers have achieved phenomenal results and we're you know, we're primarily a B tob sales with with laser focus on increasing sales per sella. I love that aim and that focus, John. So, to back up for listeners a little bit, you guys have been running a podcast for a few years now and, as we mentioned at the top of this episode, we're kicking off this new series called the audible ready podcast. Can you tell us a little bit about the thinking and the inspiration for the name of this new series as we're rebranding and relaunching the series? Yeah, so I mean at already comes from our sports backgrounds and in the term really means to be ready to meet your customer wherever they are in they're buying process. So today we have to be all already with multiple audiences, because with different problems you tend to get delegated to those that you...

...sound like. So basically, you come to situations prepared but also ready to adapt. Once you assess where everybody is, you know what they need and what they're what they're doing and what they're saying. I love that. That is great advice. or any sellers right there, if anybody wants to hit the thirty two back button, you get delegated to those that you sound like. So, in addition to little nuggets of wisdom like that, John, what can listeners expect if they are hitting subscribe and looking forward to future episodes in this series? Yeah, what I what I really like about our podcast is that they're extremely relevant. You know, they're easy to consume and they're, you know, applicable to your selling life.
